Shoshone National Forest was our home for the night and had some spectacular scenery.
We left the forest in the dead of morning to be the first through the gates of Yellowstone.

Suddenly, a snow storm.
What an incredibly unique opportunity to see Yellowstone trapped between winter and summer.
This mud volcano was our first stop.
This fuming cavern roared like a dragon.
We stand in front of Sour Lake. The sulphuric content sends an egg smell through the park.
